ASICS GEL-Lyte V "Tartufo" pack
The latest food-inspired sneakers to hit shelves will be the Asics Gel-Lyte V "Tartufo" pack.
Tartufo can be one of two things, it is either an edible fungus, such as the white truffle, or it is an Italian dessert that consists of chocolate in a creamy consistency. The results were so sweet we are serving these up for dessert. 
Born in '93 and the GEL-LYTE V model was released as a running shoe with a lightweight frame and superior cushioning. The mono tongue fit system and harder density waving U-shaped feature on the midsole heel helped increase stability and cushioning. The Gel Lyte V borrows the colours found in the creamy chocolate and truffles and utilises them on the leather and suede upper. Giving the pack some added depth is the ostrich texture found throughout. Brown hues and speckled misdsole complete the theme of the shoe.
