ASICS Gel-Lyte Runner x Solebox
Following up on their successful release of the GEL-Lyte III “Blue Carpenter Bee,” Solebox is back at it with ASICS, now unveiling a brand new silhouette.
Designed by Hikmet Sugoer for Solebox, ASICS presents the GEL-Lyte Runner “Blue Carpenter Bee” Part II. This time around the sneaker of choice is the Asics Gel-Lyte Runner, a model not nearly as celebrated as the Gel Lyte 3 that kicked things off.
Mirroring the look of its ancestor, the second “Blue Carpenter Bee” sees black, grey and light blue hues. When it comes to the construction, the shoe comes with premium leather toe box and quarter panels, while Grey suede takes care of the heel, eyestay, tongue and laces. Adding more of a collaborative feel to the shoe are the Solebox logos placed on the heel and Asics branding on the tongue.
