This week ASICS Tiger will celebrate the Japanese Love Tale with the ASICS Tanabata Pack.
A tale of a weaver princess Orihime and a common cow herder called Hikoboshi, lovers who were only allowed to see each other once a week. As part of Japanese culture, Tanabata is now celebrated on the 7th of July whereby they write down a wish on Paper (Tanzaku) and then hang them on bamboo throughout the day in the hope their wishes will come true.
The latest ASICS Gel Tanabata Pack celebrates this romantic festival with two of their classic retro runners, the Gel Respector and the Gel Kayano Trainer. The ASICS Gel Kayano Trainer comes built with a full suede upper that includes the Tiger Stripes emblem on the sides and rests atop Dark Beige rubber sole. The ASICS Gel Respector features a premium nubuck upper with textured Dark Green details and comes complete with a Tan rubber sole.
