Converse x ASAP Nast NST2 Pack
A$AP NAST is a Harlem born creative who seamlessly moves through the spheres of fashion, music and skate culture. Teaming up with Converse, the ultimate blank canvas for creativity and style, was a natural fit for NAST, a restless innovator and natural storyteller. 
For his latest Converse collaboration, NAST takes on the Jack Purcell Chukka, as well as two accompanying tees. This ankle-grazing silhouette, originally created for badminton courts, finds a streetstyle refresh with utilitarian style. The addition of a durable canvas upper, rubberized outsole, and One Star heel stamp bring workwear vibes to this archived JP silhouette. The two tees come in Lemonade or Beech colourways, with simple 'JP' screenprinting on the front, as well as various screenprinted words on the back. 
For this new release, Nast wanted to honor those memories and driving forces, as well as showcase his appreciation for the outdoors and “utilitarian” gear. “The silhouette is functional, durable. It’s intriguing,” Nast shares. “I wanted to craft a style that me and my team could wear every day, whatever way we like.” For this particular spin on the Jack Purcell Mid, Converse footwear designer Matt Sleep was enlisted to aid Nast in his sartorial quest.
The Converse x ASAP Nast NST2 Pack drops Friday 5th of April at our CPT and JHB stores via first come first serve. The JHB store will open at 9am, CPT at 10am.
