Ed Sheeran Coming to SA
This morning Big Concerts amazed fans with the announcement of an Ed Sheeran Tour to South Africa. This leg of the Divide World Tour will be presented by AEG and Big Concerts, and sees the British singer- songwriter performing in Joburg and Cape Town. While the concerts are only going to be next year, tickets are going to be hard to get your hands on, so it’s best you prepare. Tickets will only be available from Computicket and all tickets are non-transferable. This means you can’y buy a ticket from someone else, but it also means people can’t buy up all the tickets to resell them for much more. This is ties in with Sheeran’s recent efforts to combat ticket resellers and the websites they operate from. 
The ginger-haired artist had a massive 2017, being the overall most streamed artist on Spotify, with his tracks Shape of You and Divide being the two most streamed songs. Sheeran also recently sold 1.1 million concert tickets in the UK alone, making it one of the biggest tours for the country. Tickets for the tour go on sale this Thursday 28 June for JHB , and this Friday 29 June for CPT. The Johannesburg concert is set for the 23 March 2019, while Cape Town will see Ed Sheeran on the 27 March 2019.
