LC23 x Peanuts x Diadora Pack
It’s not often that Diadora comes headlining with feats of design, though the usually understated offerings from the footwear company have done themselves up in new kits that take on an inspiration many can admire fondly — either through a nostalgia of their own or a newfound interest.
Following the runaway success of their Rick and Morty kicks last year, Diadora have now joined forces with Peanuts and Italian fashion brand LC23 for a dynamite collab. The resulting pack includes a B.Elite and a Mi Basket, each embroidered with various characters from the popular comic strip.Today the passion for quality, craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail that has always marked this collaboration shifts focus toward the realm of comics for a fresh take on two of Diadora’s most representative models, the iconic B.Elite and the Mi Basket.
Celebrating the world’s most famous and influential comic strip, it’s a limited edition where street style, colour and bold sense of flair merge perfectly to create a unique and original comic style. The result is B.Elite Peanuts and Mi Basket Peanuts. 
Capturing the essence of Peanuts as well as the zany characters that inhabit the 4-panel comic strip, the Italian footwear label has given its staple silhouettes, the Mi Basket and B. Elite, a series of patched appliques, with the former model providing a vignette into the lives of Snoopy and Woodstock and the latter featuring various portraits of the wacky cast. Both arrive in a base of white as to maintain the overall structure of their common offerings, though the tonality found in its motif are spread across the insole, laces, and co-branding, culminating with a special art-adorned insole.
The LC23 x Peanuts x Diadora Pack will drop exclusively at Shelflife CPT & JHB via first come first serve at 10am on Wednesday the 13th of February.
