The Air Jordan 2 Retro “Alternate ’87”
With 2016 officially underway, New Balance joins forces with British footwear experts Grenson for a new collaborative sneaker that gives the 576 silhouette a heritage twist.
Both New Balance and Grenson have strong roots in making footwear in the UK, while one brand produces athletic sneakers, the other crafts bench-made shoes. The difference isn't stopping the brands from connecting, as they're now dropping their very own sneaker collaboration.
We see the shoe is constructed with Grenson’s Italian grade-A tan calfskin leather and a brogued upper, merging New Balance’s athletic credentials with a traditional hard-bottomed brogue.
The New Balance x Grenson Brogue Sneaker will be available very soon at Shelflife for R6499.00 - stock will be very limited and no pre-orders will be accepted.
The 576 has been expertly crafted in both Grenson’s Northampton factory and New Balance’s Flimby factory, to ensure premium quality.
Check out the below video delving into the shoe’s story further.
