The Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Cup Light Carbon looks like something out of a sci-fi blockbuster. The futuristic lines of this bizarre mash-up sees the iconic AF1 crafted with lightweight and durable synthetic material. Only previously seen on the popular high-top sneaker, this is the first Air Force 1 to get this unique upgrade.
Just like many of the original Nike Foamposite colourways, this silhouette features a shimmering, iridescent upper. A deep hue of purple transitions across the shoe which looks different against varying intensities of light. As mentioned, Foamposite is an ultra innovative material that is surprisingly tough given how lightweight it is. It’s fully waterproof and can easily be wiped clean of mud and dirt. As such, the Air Force 1 Foamposite is a force to be reckoned with. That iridescent upper is contrasted by a black coloured tongue and ankle strap as well as a dark midsole underfoot. To finish the look, a unique patterned fabric is utilised for the ankle surround.
