Nike Air Jordan 11 IE Low "Referee"
The Air Jordan 11 IE Low is back in another bold colourway straight from the 90s, but this pair never saw a retail release as it was made exclusively for a totally different entity on the basketball court – the referees.
There's always an element of excitement when an unreleased sneaker finally makes it’s way to stores, and this time it's no different for the Jordan 11 IE Low "Referee," which was first seen nearly 20 years ago. While exclusives sneakers have come to be expected for players, these were made for referees, who have to stick to a strict dress code of all-black sneakers.
The sneaker is mostly black, with tonal-stitched leather and mesh working the upper. Black also takes care of the laces, inner liner and midsole. A few contrasting hits of True Red can be seen on the Jumpman tongue embroidery, as well as carbon fiber shank plate and outsole tread.
The Air Jordan 11 IE Low Referee will be available at Shelflife on the 26th of September 2015 for the retail price of R1799.00
