Nike Air Sock Racer OG
Showing up out of nowhere, the Nike Sock Racer is back. Not seen since it dropped in limited “Genealogy of Free” collection from 2014, the avant-garde design from the mid 1980’s that set the stage for minimal running shoe designs right up to the present day is back in an OG-inspired colourway in black, yellow, and white.
Originally released in the ’80s and designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air Sock Racer OG served as an experiment in streamlined, minimal design. Eventually paving the way for the lightweight footwear of today, the pioneering shoe features an upper that mimics the fit and feel of a sock made with breathable material. A highly flexible outsole provides easy comfort, while a simple Black and Yellow colourway nods to the Nike Air Sock Racer that started it all.
The Nike Air Sock Racer OG will drop this Saturday the 11th of March 2017 for the retail price of R1599.00
