Nike Dunk CMFT
Inspired by the culture and trends of collegiate basketball, Nike dressed its Zoom-equipped Nike Dunk silhouette in three slick new colourways.
Back in 1947, North Carolina State coach, Everett Case, accidently introduced the tradition after cutting the net to keep as a souvenir after his team won the Southern Conference title. Along with a tonal sock-liner, specially molded to mimic the imprint of the outsole, the Nike Dunk CMFT honours the age-old tradition of the winning team cutting the net as a souvenir, by including a small graphic on the inner sole of a basketball net and scissors.
Sporting a blend of premium materials, a black leather upper gives rise to of bursts of University Red, Gold and Lyon Blue respectively; seen along the perforated toe box, Swoosh, heel panel and laces; while white accents brighten the build.
