Nike Introduce the WMNS Vandal 2K
Platform soles have been one of the hottest trends in women’s sneakers, and Nike is getting in on the action with their own maximalist take on the classic Vandal silhouette. Entitled the Vandal 2K, the new women’s-only sneaker ditches the Vandal’s high top and thin sole for a low top and a thick, chunky sole that’s double-stacked for maximum platform effect. The first colorway sees silver and red, with blue accents that nods to the Vandal’s OG colorway from 1985.
The Vandal’s classic collar strap is moved down towards the toebox, and a mesh upper offers an old-school look with a modernized twist. The second pair of Vandal 2K sees a Particle Beige colourway with a shiny textile finish atop a Sail double-stacked cup sole. 
The Nike WMNS Vandal 2K releases on 16 June 2018 for the retail price of R1799.00 at both our CPT and JHB stores, as well as online.
