Nike x Off-White Pop-Up in Shanghai
A few weeks ago saw the release of the seriously popular Off-White x Nike VaporMax “Black” through both Shelflife stores. Hundreds upon hundreds of people entered in the hopes of securing a pair of Virgil’s coveted Nike collab.
In Shanghai, there was a slightly more tranquil experience at the Nike x Off-White interactive pop-up during Shanghai fashion week. The pop-up displayed a contemporary take on old Chinese fabric shops. Inside, attendees could eat traditional cake, as well as customise cotton or silk Nike tote bags with Chinese patchworks, calligraphy pens and Imperial jade seals. Those raffle ticket holders lucky enough to win a pair were also awarded with mung bean cake and a special NikeLab Chinese teacup.
Continuing the white theme from Shanghai, this Saturday the 14thof April sees the release of the white counterpart to Virgil's black VaporMax. Things are looking to be even bigger than the last with this ultra-hyped release.
