P.V.S x New Balance 996 "9alactic 9irls" 6rigade"
They’ve gone and outdone themselves yet again! New Balance have unveiled this season’s perfect trainer.
Code-named “9alactic 9irls’ 6rigade” (“Galactic Girls’ Brigade”), the sneaker pays homage to female empowerment and liberation, attributes that P.V.S firmly believes in.
New Balance has joined forces with Singapore’s quirky female footwear store P.V.S, creating an eccentric alternative of the much appreciated 996 silhouette.
Using the New Balance 996 silhouette, the uppers features multiple colours which almost takes the form of a paint splatter. The upper is constructed with a dark base, it is barely visible under a stunning layer created by dabs of paint that are reminiscent of Claude Monet’s unmistakable Impressionist painting style. Other accents include a two tone midsole, speckled outsole and P.V.S branding on the insoles.
The P.V.S x New Balance 996 will release this Saturday the 27th of February 2016.
