PUMA continues its stream of strong collaborations, this time teaming up with New York based creative, Sophia Chang.
Paying homage to one of New York's most iconic boroughs, Chang's Brooklyn-inspired collection, Brooklynite, actively captures the city's vibrant street life and pop culture through an extensive range of apparel and footwear for both men and women.
Using one of PUMAs most iconic silhouettes as a base, Chang dresses the popular Disc Blaze model in a stern all-black colourway. Built with a collection of premium materials, a soft neoprene bootie rests within the external Disc Closure cage, while a combination of mesh, suede and leather hits offer a textural dimension to the upper. A graphic insole conveys Chang's signature illustrations, while gold hits; detailing PUMA branding on the heel and old-school Brooklyn Dodgers style script Brooklynite; round off the colourway. Finishing the look, a black Trinomic midsole and gum outsole offers supreme cushioning and enhanced durability for a comfortable ride.
