French Basketball brandPigalle is no stranger to The Swoosh. Now, the Stéphane Ashpool and his brand have added their flavour to a new style - namely, the Converse Chuck 70 Ox.
Parisian Stéphane Ashpool founded sportswear brand Pigalle as a homage to the neighbourhood he was born in. Through the brand, he brings together his love of streetwear, sportswear, and high fashion. For his collaboration with Converse Stéphane explores the idea of subculture and music’s power to spark social movements.
On Chuck 70, he fuses a layer of TPU film, cotton yarn, and two vibrant colourways, creating a unique visual layer of dimension. One features an energetic gradient colour scheme and the other a play on the iconic natural canvas colour. The words “THE POWER OF MUSIC TO MOVE THE WORLD” are placed on the rubber heel, as well as multi-colour pinstripe detail to help create a new and energetic take on our iconic pinstripes.
The Pigalle x Converse Chuck 70 Ox 'Lightning Storm' Pack drops Saturday 25 January for the retail price of R1399 each at our CPT store only on a first come first served basis.
