Puma x Careaux collection
Dutch graphic designer and influential style icon Careaux has made a name for herself as one of the go-to creators of high-femme street style. As an avid sneaker collector, she seems an ideal choice for a fresh new sportswear collaboration.
PUMA took the bait, and the brand has just unveiled a collaborative set of sneakers and apparel that sees the Careaux aesthetic created in beautiful detail across some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes.
The collection, consisting of apparel and footwear, is optimistic and colourful with Careaux’s trademark ‘Dedication Flower’ as a recurring pattern. As for the shoes; Careaux has used three different models. The Duplex OG, an iconic running style from the 90s, the PUMA Suede, in a soft palette of white, black or pink suede decorated with the typical Careaux illustrations and the Blaze of Glory model which has a romantic look and feel.
The classic Duplex OG received a modern rework, which is available in black or white suede, with a touch of gold branding on a leather heel. The PUMA Suede comes in three different colourways: white, rose, and black. Last but not least is the updated version of the Blaze of Glory with a pink rose print called the ”Dedication Flower” and is crafted with Trinomic tooling and perforated leather.
As Careaux has also created a women’s clothing line consisting of tops, leggings, sweats and a bold reversible bomber jacket which is sure to be a knock out in stores. The collection will be dropping very soon at Shelflife - stay tuned for more details!
