SHELFLIFE: Puma x Careaux collection - 9 September 2016
Girly graphic design muse, Careaux (Caroll Lynn) and PUMA have come together this autumn to create a cute collaboration pack. The collection includes some of our favourite models: the PUMA Suede and the Blaze of Glory.
Caroll Lynn aka Careaux, her social caller, is recognised globally for her femme meets street style and digital artwork inspired by sneakers. Puma have joined forces with her to create a collection that reflects on the most significant people throughout her life’s journey.
The collection sees a colourful and optimistic hallmark infused throughout, evident from the palette of the footwear to the aesthetic of the apparel designs. The floral design ‘Dedication Flower’ using the triangle gradient style has become Caroll Lynn’s life signature and she continually uses it to find beauty and strength in dark, difficult times.
She has a creative talent for reimagining everyday ideas and objects in romantic, feminine illustrations, which can be seen across the collaborative styles with Puma. The Blaze Of Glory x Careaux is a knock out piece within the collection, featuring Puma Trinomic tooling, Caroll creatively combines the functionality of the classic silhouette with art. It features the symbolic rose print she designed with iconic BOG elements finished with perforated leather giving a soft romantic touch.
The iconic 90’s running silhouette is making a major comeback this season, with this release it is reimagined in a luxurious suede, with a heat embossed dedication flower in gold, representing a fusion of optimism and strength on the upper, and finished with soft leather on the heel for a romantic touch.
The Puma x Careaux collection will be dropping this Friday the 9th of September 2016 at our Cape Town store as well as our JHB store.
