Shelflife opens in Johannesburg
For the past 10 years, Shelflife Store has called Cape Town it’s home. For over 6 years we have been looking into opening a second door in Johannesburg, struggling with locations, and working hard to duplicate our store but still maintain our brand we have worked on for the past decade.
On Saturday the 20th of August 2016 we opened our doors for the very first time! Almost one year of preparation and a few months of really hard work from team Shelflife paid off on release day!
Quite a few Shelflife fans flew in from around the country to see the doors open in the City of Gold. The line started 4 hours before opening, and lasted throughout the day!
With constant requests for our limited in store only releases from our loyal Johannesburg followers, it was great to be able to now offer this product face to face and at the same time welcome new customers!
Our store is based in the new "Art Mile" of Johannesburg, in the Trumpet center, which is situated at 21 Keyes Avenue in Rosebank. Sharing the space with great brands such as BGR burgers, Marble restaurant, Milk Bar and Missibaba to name just a few!
Our store hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 10:00-17:30
Saturday: 10:00-15:00
Sunday and Public holidays: Closed

We have worked really hard with the brands that we carry to ensure that we release the same product for each store at the same time, which will then be advertised and promoted through our social media channels.
Our online store is still based in Cape Town, and will dispatch exactly the same as the last 5 years.
We would like to thank everyone for coming out and the massive support we received on opening day, and look forward to seeing new faces that haven't made it out yet to the new space in the following weeks and months.
