Street artist HOTTEA Transforms a Neglected Tennis Court with Colourful Yarn
In the search for powerful and moving art pieces, popular visual art and culture blog Colossal teams up with Threadless for a new series of artist showcasing films entitled Paid in Full, where the two brands find an artist to showcase, commission a piece of the choosing and film the entire process.
The first installment of the Paid in Full series features Minneapolis street artist Eric Rieger a.k.a. Hottea and showcases the construction of his latest destructive street art installation, "Optimist", where the artist worked masses of yarn into a rainbow-like structure within a run down tennis court. The piece was extremely well received by the Minneapolis community, that community members have began locking the court at nighttime to protect the work and
