Trapstar x Puma Suede

Not many sneakers are as classic as the Puma Suede and now Puma is teaming up with Trapstar to create a brand new version of the classic!

Puma Suede was released during the early 1970’s seen worn by Knicks player Walt “Clyde” Frazier. The shoe instantly became popular in urban communities. During the 1980’s the Puma Suede was prominent among B-Boys when breakdancing increased in popularity. Since then, the shoe has kept its place within the breakdance culture inspiring newer generations to wear it.

The Puma X Trapstar Suede release embodies the classic style of the Suede Classic and the streetwear essence of Trapstar. Opting to keep things fairly subtle, the shoe dons an all-Black suede upper accompanied by even more Black used on the branding and lining. Giving the shoe some added pop are the dual-branded laces that tie up the look of the shoe. Additional branding is placed on the tongue, while a White sole unit below provides the contrast on the shoe

Much like the Black pair, there is also a red colourway that comes in a tonal upper where a Red suede takes care of the base. The Red hue also takes care of the side panel branding and the lining. Giving the shoe an added boost is the classic White laces covered in Red dual branding. Even more dual branding is spotted on the White tongue tag. Completing the look is the all-White sole unit placed below.

The Trapstar x Puma Suede will drop on Thursday the 4th of August 2016 for the retail price of R1799.00
