adidas Originals Atric Pack
Inspired by unpredictable climates and designed to stand up to any weather condition, adidas Originals has introduced two new silhouettes to its collection, the Atric Pack. The collection features two new silhouettes, both physical and technical, engineered for the outdoors. The sneakers include premium materials, pioneering weather resistance offering pinnacle performance for all conditions.
The first, the AF 1.3 PK, is a high-top silhouette inspired by Germany’s elite tactical police unit known as the GSG 9. The shoe combines aesthetics featuring a range of technical elements to create a striking pose with practical considerations. Created with a full Primeknit upper with coated overlays for waterproofing, reinforced by a weather-resistant lining for protection against the elements. The shoe further protects your feet with an insulation sock-liner. It also features a full-length lacing system, finished with embroidered 3-stripes marks and essential branded detailing. The AF 1.3 PK will be available in a classic black colourway, contrasted with white tooling.
The second shoe, the AF 1.4 PK, translates a similar design of the AF 1.3 PK into a lowtop variant, with the same construction approach, Primeknit upper with coated overlays, and insulation linings. The design resembles a utilitarian runner, as opposed to the AF 1.3 PK’s hightop boot styling. The AF 1.4 PK will be available in classic black with white tooling, as well as a pure white version.
adidas Originals South Africa has commissioned publisher and creative director of Bubblegum Club, Jamal Nxedlana, to support the local launch of this progressive franchise. Nxedlana conceptualised a local lookbook, providing a visual narrative exploring the idea of an urban warrior.
The adidas Originals Atric Pack will release in CPT & JHB on the 19th of October 2017 via first come first serve.
