The Spring Summer 2014 collection celebrates the decade long collaboration between legendary designer Jeremy Scott and adidas.
Scott expands the luxury sportswear category through the use of bright colours, bold prints and premium fabrics, with his signature motifs; including the winged dollar sign, florals and leopard prints; featuring steadily throughout. Scott merges an American sportswear heritage with an aesthetic inspired the age-old fashion trends from the United Kingdom, seeing the collection include items such as numbered baseball shirts and football jerseys, and aspects of traditional British pearl embroidery techniques and Union Jack emblems.
Focusing on the sneakers, the Spring Summer 2014 Collection further explores luxury street wear, with the JS Instinct model dressed in rainbow-effect Italian leather, the classic Ron Laver silhouette sporting gold hues and lace jewels, and the debuting ‘Tall Boy’ model. Further footwear models include the adidas Letter Instinct trainer, with two models sporting a leopard and Union Jack print respectively, the iconic Bones trainer bearing multi-coloured leather and gold Trefoil embellishments, and the JS Wings Easy Five in premium gold leather for women.
