Dime’s Mark Regimbal spoke on the collection and how “it’s both humbling and an incredible honour to have partnered with a global and respected brand like adidas Skateboarding for this collection. We had full access to their deep catalogue and resources that opened our world to endless artistic possibilities.”
At the heart of the adidas x Dime collaboration lies the iconic adidas Superstar ADV, a sneaker that has long been celebrated as a symbol of subculture and self-expression. Dime's interpretation of the shoe features the “Wave design” vertically up the rear heel, the predominantly upper is complemented by subtle branding details, such as the Dime logo on the heel tab and co-branded insoles, adding a touch of exclusivity to the collaboration. The shoe also incorporates a durable clear rubber sole with Dime branding peaking through.
In addition to the Superstar, the adidas x Dime collaboration extends to a tracksuit that perfectly captures the essence of both brands. The tracksuit exudes a retro aesthetic with a relaxed oversized fit, combining Dime's casual streetwear vibe with Adidas expertise in performance-driven apparel. Made using sustainable materials, the tracksuit features a relaxed fit and boasts subtle co-branding details throughout. The jacket and pants showcase the classic adidas stripes with the same “wave design” found on the Superstar keeping Dime's playful aesthetic.
