Stepping out of your comfort-zone can be overrated when it’s usually the spaces that make you feel the most content that allows for true creativity and authenticity. We see this all around us, whether it be people keeping their most precious stuff at home, or letting your mind wonder right before you fall asleep, letting the craziest ideas run wild.
With BIRKENSTOCK coming to Shelflife for the first time, it only made sense for us to show you a glimpse into the unassuming places that people go to, to create something that can influence what the streets are doing. We’ve teamed up with Bee Diamondhead, Anthony Bila and Ora Moh who give us a glimpse into their cosiest places which are oftentimes the most creatively freeing. Just like BIRKENSTOCK that keeps true to its roots of innovation and comfort, our protagonists show us that Home Is Where The Art Is.

New since 2020, the casual Kyoto masters the craft of everyday design. The silhouette takes its inspiration from the classic Zürich model and stands out with its compact design and individually adjustable buckle. This timeless silhouette blends the world-class craftsmanship of a BIRKENSTOCK design with its innovative always-on style, with optimum grip, decorative rivets, a soft suede upper and high-quality nubuck leather.
BOSTON:
The epitome of modernity and comfort, BIRKENSTOCK’s Boston clog champions the trademark cork footbed. The ultimate icon of everyday streetstyle and comfort, the Boston represents the journey of BIRKENSTOCK from practicality, to innovation to a closet staple. The Boston is loveable for many reasons, especially for its effortless and versatile design. Its simplicity allows for limitless reinterpretation, and the high-quality materials and suede upper, result in a holy-grail of footwear.
ARIZONA:
The most iconic sandal of BIRKENSTOCK’s shoe making portfolio, the classic Arizona is defined by two wide straps for enhanced support and comfort. Unveiled in 1973, it’s the epitome of classic appeal and truly stands the test of time.
