Converse X Patta SS 2023 Celebrating Luck and Hard Work
With St Patrick’s Day on 17 March, it seems to be the month for good fortune as Patta and Converse are paying homage to the ever-lucky four-leaf clover with their forthcoming campaign, featuring the ever-popular One Star Pro. It's your lucky day as Shelflife has exclusively secured this limited-edition capsule for Spring 2023 that includes a unique take on Converse’s One Star Pro, as well as an accompanying apparel collection, that boasts a utilitarian style and embroidered graphics.
The Converse x Patta campaign celebrates how hard work and passion, with an element of luck, pays off in realising your dreams. Featuring the footwear brand’s All-Star cast of musical talent, the campaign stars artists including artist Shaniqwa Jarvis and American-singer songwriter Erykah Badu’s stories whose hard work and luck in equal measures led to their success.
The Patta x Converse One Star Pro leads the range with four-leaf clovers embroidered in the centre of its stars. Below, the foxing further recognises the symbol, with “4 LEAF CLOVER” stamped all around the shoe. Hairy suedes construct the entirety of the upper in a deep brown shade, complementing the much darker laces as well as the cream midsole.
The collection also includes limited-edition oversized t-shirts with Patta x Converse co-branded logos, utilitarian-friendly pants with embroidered patches and cargo-ready pockets, a hoodie crafted from brush-back terry fleece, and a reversible padded vest.
This isn’t the first time the two brands have collaborated, with the most recent being last year’s Experimental Jetset Chuck 70. And with Converse’s commitment to fighting against climate change and using sustainable materials where ever possible, you can rest easy knowing you’re spending your hard earned cash with an ethical company.

The whole collection will drop this Friday the 10th of March at both Shelflife Cape Town and Johannesburg as well as on shelflife.co.za via first come first serve.
