Converse x Slam Jam Bosey MC Pack
Italian institution Slam Jam has unveiled its latest partnership with Converse with an outdoors-inspired collection consisting of both apparel and footwear. Throughout the collection, technical elements are used across all items, continuing the collection’s utilitarian influences.
Both footwear pieces sees the Bosey MC redesigned in both a Hi and Ox version. Both constructions feature a water-repellent canvas upper, rugged tread outsole and speed lacing system, while the collection’s outdoors influence is apparent through the use of Lurex ripstop, metallic details and hardwearing rubber detailing.
To launch the collection, Converse and Slam Jam have partnered with New York-based art director Chris Glickman. Speaking about the campaign, Glickman explained, “The genesis of this project was exploring the idea of how we interact with and are influenced by permanent forms throughout history. In a time of universal uncertainty comfort can be found in an appreciation of beauty that has been unchanged for millennia and speaks to the deeply human aspects of how our visual landscapes affect us on a fundamental level.”
The Converse x Slam Jam Bosey MC Pack drops 25 March at our CPT, JHB and online store on a first come first serve basis.
