E-COMMERCE MANAGER JOB ALERT!

We are looking for an E-Commerce Manager to join our expanding, powerhouse team!

This position requires someone with technical, digital & SEO skills to drive Online Store innovation, sales performance and overall growth of the Shelflife website.

The position is available immediately and is based full-time at our Head Office in Cape Town CBD.


Key roles:

  • Maintain & develop functionality of Shelflife website including monitoring of systems, analytics & sales data
  • Project management of all platform development including new features & support
  • Drive initiatives to enhance mobile-first engagement, traffic and conversion rates
  • Drive innovation, customer experience & growth of online store performance
  • Implement best practices for on-page SEO
  • Management of all SEO, keyword research and analysis
  • Optimise website content, including meta tags, headings, and image alt text, to improve search engine visibility and rankings
  • Conduct regular analysis of website performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Reporting on all aspects of e-commerce platform performance
  • Paid social/SEM skills advantageous


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in platform management
  • Experience with relevant E-Commerce platforms
  • Proven track record of website development
  • ERP to E-Commerce integration experience
  • Project management experience including digital updates, changes and handling of support teams
  • Experience in the use of Business Intelligence Tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI & Google Looker
  • Tertiary education preferable
