Exclusive NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Certified Lover Boy'

Over the years, the partnership between Drake and Nike has produced some of the most iconic sneakers in history. The NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Certified Lover Boy" is the latest collaboration between Drake and Nike. It was first teased by the rapper on social media in December 2021 and has been highly anticipated ever since. It was released in the US in December 2022, and has now arrived in South Africa dropping on 04 March 2023. We are proud to confirm that the NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Certified Lover Boy" will only be available in Africa through Shelflife, making it an exclusive release for sneakerheads on the continent.

Aptly named after Drake's upcoming album "Certified Lover Boy" and part of his NOCTA line, which is a collaboration between Drake and Nike. This premium-leather, triple-white AF-1 is a love letter to the classic model. Inspired by Drake's favourite childhood book, Love You Forever, and the sentiment of the phrase, the intent was to enhance the quality of the shoe and add subtle details that would tell the story but wouldn't change the iconic silhouette. For the first time, the midsole is revised to read "Love You Forever" with complementary hearts that replace the stars on the outsole. Additional design elements include alphabetical beads to customise the lace dubrae, a NOCTA logo in place of Nike Air on the left heel and a new perforation pattern on the toe box.

The partnership between Drake and Nike dates back to 2013, when the rapper first collaborated with the brand on the Air Jordan 10 "OVO". Since then, they have released a number of highly sought-after sneakers, including the Air Jordan 12 "OVO" and the Air Max 97 "Neon". In addition to sneakers, Drake has also collaborated with Nike on apparel, including tracksuits, t-shirts and accessories.

One of the reasons why the partnership between Drake and Nike has been so successful is because the rapper has a deep understanding of sneaker culture. He is known for his love of rare and exclusive sneakers and has even been known to customise his own pairs. This passion for sneakers is evident in the designs that he creates with Nike, which are always highly coveted by sneakerheads around the world.

The online raffle opens on the 2nd of March at 7 pm for 1 hour only. Winners will be contacted on the 3rd of March before 3 pm.

Live store raffles take place this Saturday 4 March in CPT and JHB. Armbands handed out at 9:30am, raffles start at 10am.

1. This raffle is free and open to everyone in South Africa ONLY.

2. By entering your name, shoe size, valid bar-coded ID or Passport and email address, your name will be entered into the draw for the opportunity to buy one pair of the NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Certified Lover Boy' in your size and selected colourway at the given date and time.

3. To qualify for the opportunity to purchase online, you must have a confirmed online profile/account with Shelflife.co.za. To create your account, please sign up. Please ensure your account is updated with contact details and shipping information. If you have already created an account with Shelflife.co.za in the past you do not need to create a new one.

4. After completing an online profile, you can enter the raffle via our dedicated link with your details from 7 pm until 8 pm. If you enter multiple times you will be disqualified.

5. Your entry is valid only if the following requirements are met:
• You have a valid Shelflife account with an email address matching the one used for the raffle entry
• Your valid delivery address is saved to the Shelflife account before entering the raffle.
• You have not entered multiple times with the same name, email address or ID number.
• You are residing in South Africa.

6. The winners will be drawn randomly and contacted and invoiced between 10 am and 3 pm on the 3rd of March, via email only (please ensure the email you created for your online profile matches your online competition form). Online Raffle Winners will have until Saturday the 4th of March to make payment for their online order.

7. Successful entrants will be eligible to purchase the size they have selected ONLY in the online raffle form and must settle payment in full prior to receiving their pair.

8. Each successful entrant will have the right to purchase one pair of the NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Certified Lover Boy' in the size they indicated on their entry. Entrants may not swap sizes nor request another size than the one they indicated in their entry.

9. NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Certified Lover Boy' is R2599 and is payable via online order only. All info is contained in the winning email.

10. Shelflife has the final say in all sales of the NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Certified Lover Boy'.
