Homeware at Shelflife

Shelflife has always prioritised creative expression. With this as our driving force, we are expanding our offering to include a carefully curated homeware section. This exciting addition embodies the spirit of everything we love about streetwear - creativity, uniqueness, well-crafted pieces and meticulous design - featuring new and renowned brands like HAY, Kuumba and Studio Arhoj

At first glance, streetwear and homeware may seem like an unlikely pair. Upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that they share a common thread – self-expression. Just as streetwear allows individuals to showcase their unique style and personality, homeware enables them to express themselves through their living spaces. We’ve already seen our favourite brands dip their toes into this pond, whether it be Carhartt WIPS outdoor range, Bearbrick drawing inspiration from our favourite characters, or Bape’s stained glass plates – our streetwear favourites are allowing you to dress your space along with yourself.

HAY

Hailing from Denmark, HAY is synonymous with modern Scandinavian design. Their homeware collection embodies simplicity, functionality, and timeless elegance. From minimalist furniture to sleek kitchenware, Hay products effortlessly blend form and function, making them perfect for contemporary urban living. With a focus on clean lines, muted colours, and high-quality materials, HAY pieces add a touch of Scandinavian sophistication to any space. At Shelflife, our HAY offering ranges from colour-blocked coffee brewers to toasters to the infamous HAY storage crates.

Kuumba

Kuumba is not your average homeware brand. Specializing in incense and home fragrance, Kuumba offers an olfactory experience like no other and has colloborated with some of the biggest names in streetwear like Stussy, Supreme and OVO. With a focus on quality ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship, their incense blends are carefully curated to evoke different moods and atmospheres. With their names like “Illest” and “It’s All Good,” Kuumba's scents transport you to a sanctuary a little closer to the streets. The specially designed packaging reflects street culture and street art influences, bringing an element of urban flair to the world of home fragrance.

Studio Arhoj

Studio Arhoj is a Copenhagen-based ceramics studio renowned for its one-of-one quirky and whimsical designs. Drawing inspiration from Japanese aesthetics and pop culture, their homeware pieces are characterized by bold colours, playful shapes, and unexpected details. Each item is handcrafted with care, adding a unique and personal touch to your home. From handcrafted bowls to charming glass figurines, Studio Arhoj's creations inject a sense of joy and personality into any interior.

Streetwear has long drawn inspiration from art, music, and urban culture – influences that are also reflected in contemporary homeware design. From graffiti-inspired prints to industrial materials, the line between streetwear and interior homeware is becoming increasingly blurred, giving rise to a new aesthetic that seamlessly merges the two worlds. Shelflife’s new homeware offering taps into this, and we’re just getting started.
