Kim Van Vuuren x New Balance Collection
Check out some BTS shots from a video we shot of our longtime friend, South African artist Kim Van Vuuren in her new home of Barcelona ahead of her first collab collection with New Balance dropping locally at Shelflife on Friday.
Kim is an independent graphic designer and visual artist that's currently living and creating in Barcelona. Working in the field of visual identity design, visual art, illustration, painting, and web design, Kim's work combines traditional graphic design techniques with contemporary graphics, typography, illustration and styling. Not confined to one medium, Kim also enjoys painting murals and street art.
Bringing her flair to casual wear, Kim's collection with NB Athletics includes 5 apparel items. The tees arrive in two colourways and feature an NB stacked logo with floral print, sitting front and centre. The crewnecks also arrive in two colours with Kim's work on the back of the garment, while a small NB logo on the front completes the soft crewnecks. The black shorts feature a high-rise, fitted silhouette that offers snug coverage with a comfortable range of motion, finished with a small orange NB logo on one leg.
The Kim Van Vuuren x New Balance Collection drops Friday 9 September in CPT, JHB and online. Units are extremely limited. Don't sleep!
