Nike Air Max 96 II - 'Denim Pack'
The recently re-issued Air Max 96 II gets a makeover with denim executions on two pairs.
The first rendition is titled the “Blackened Blue/Gym Red” makeup. As opposed to making use of the usual leather overlays, this version welcomes in denim materials that split between indigo blue across the mid-foot and heels and a faded black component that acts as the mudguard. Varsity-esque punches of “Gym Red” and yellow provide further contrasting hits across the Swooshes, mid-foot stripes, tongue branding and heightened heel overlays. Resting below all of this is a white foundational layer that deviates between a canvas from the toe box to the mid-foot and corduroy textures for the collars.
The second non-OG edition comes dressed in a Beach, University Gold, and Blue Void color scheme. The shoe features unique materials with denim twill, chenille Swooshes, nylon base, corduroy at the heel, and a soft terry-like interior lining. A revised “AIR Max” tongue logo with branded insoles atop a White midsole and Gum rubber outsole completes the design
