Shelflife presents PLEASURES x PUMA SA Tour
The much-anticipated PLEASURES x PUMA 2023 full collection is finally hitting our wardrobes and we consider this a family affair. The three of us sat down and came up with a crazy idea, and we managed to make that idea a reality.
In our continued efforts to make the global streetwear community tighter, we’ve decided to partner with PUMA, for an early release of the full collab drop. If you can believe it, we are also flying down PLEASURES co-founder Alex James from LA, and bringing in Hayden Manuel from PUMA, for informative couch sessions, gigs and a first look at the collection.
What is the PLEASURES x PUMA collection all about?
Following on from the PLEASURES x PUMA Velophasis which teased the brands’ partnership in July, this upcoming drop brings us a full collab collection featuring a range of apparel and two new Velophasis colourways. This partnership makes perfect sense if we look at where streetwear is at right now, as both brands have effortlessly merged together the heritage of PUMA with the fun and rebellious spirit of PLEASURES.

of October, in-store & online… one week ahead of the global release!
What are the SA tour details?
A selection of friends, family and valued customers will get to spend a night celebrating the communities that we’re all part of.
There will be an event in Joburg on the 13th of October and on the 14th of October in Cape Town.
Couch session (RSVP access only):
The event will kick off with a closed couch session hosting PLEASURES and PUMA. Here, we’ll get to know a little history of the brands, provide insight to young creatives who are thinking of starting their own brands, and simply just chat and network about things that we know and love.
There will be complimentary drinks and snacks to all those on the RSVP list.
Party:
Following the couch session, there will be an open party with DJ sets from Ayejames and locals from both cities. It will be an opportunity to build connections, and just generally have good vibes.
All are welcome to come through to the party, but only those who are on the RSVP list will be able to attend the couch session.
