With sneaker culture exploding the way it has, we’ve seen a massive influx of online users and we’re constantly trying to find ways to make the process easier, fairer and more accessible to everyone. After doing everything from raffles to shock drops, we have developed a microsite to cater for high demand releases through a first come, first served process.
To this end, we’re implementing ‘Shelflife Releases’! A microsite that works exactly like the Shelflife main website but is designed specifically for special releases and anticipated drops.
How It Works:
At the time that the sneaker releases, users who are already on the Shelflife main site (shelflife.co.za) as well as people who have just entered the Shelflife website will be automatically redirected to the Shelflife Releases microsite.
Users will land on the Shelflife Releases homepage, which will only contain the product that is releasing. Once users click into the product they will go through the purchasing and payment process as usual.

Like with any launches site that has become common place in our ecosystem, we’ve got some tips and tricks to ensure you have a smooth and efficient journey to secure your pair.
- Make sure you have a Shelflife account or create one before release day.
- If you are not automatically redirected to the releases microsite at the time of the launch, refresh your browser to access the Shelflife Releases site.
- Please read all the terms and conditions upon purchasing.

Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Wet Cement'
To really kick-off the Shelflife Releases platform, we will be launching the Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘ Wet Cement’ on our new microsite this coming Saturday!
This 'Wet Cement' edition of the AJ4 draws inspiration from the cobblestone streets of Paris, evoking their rustic yet sophisticated aesthetic. A mix of nubuck leather and suede gives these grey hues some texture and dimension, making this monochromatic shoe fit for any "rue" or avenue. Complete with a special edition cement grey, textured box – this Jordan 4 truly is a grail piece.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Wet Cement’ will drop on Saturday, the 31st of August, online via our Shelflife Releases microsite at 8am, in our Cape Town store at 8:30am and in our Joburg store at 10am. F.C.F.S!
