Shelflife Turn 15 Years Old Today!

It was on this day 15 years ago that Shelflife had its humble beginnings as South Africa's premier sneaker and streetwear store. Started by selling Montana spray paint out of a garage, and later opening a store on Loop street in Cape Town, take a look at Shelflife's earlier days as one of the first real streetwear stores for the continent.
Included in the photos are shots from our first Nike activation 'Rock, Paper, Sneakers', which featured paper recreations of Air Force 1s at our old Loop street location, as well as our customised Taxi campaign, some celebrity appearances, the first Yeezy release in Africa and so much more.
