Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V
Nike’s Air Max Tailwind V first debuted at the turn of the millennium. It just so happens that Skepta began his musical career and path to stardom at the same time, too. It’s fitting, then, that the sneaker gets the nod in the grime artist’s latest link-up with the Swoosh, and even more so given the theme is metamorphosis
This offering of Skepta’s Nike Air Max Tailwind V features a Bright Blue digital print upper with Black TPU exoskeleton wrapping the forefoot and midfoot along with a rubber toe cap. An iridescent Purple-to-Blue gradient material is used on the tongue and collar while having a Chrome midfoot Swoosh and heel clip into the Black EVA foam midsole. “SK AIR” Tailwind branding atop a Black rubber outsole completes the design.
The Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V will drop on Saturday the 3rd of April for the retail price of R3199 each at Shelflife stores and online! Online at 7am, CPT and JHB open at 10am.
