Taka Hayashi x Vans 2022 Collection
Amidst a series of high-profile collaborations, Vans is once again teaming up with long-time designer-collaborator Taka Hayashi for another footwear and apparel collection.
The prints and colours of the collection are inspired by camouflage in nature, with elements like white water, mud and tapir being highlighted. The three shoes feature a different mix of materials, from canvas, suede to leather.
On the two canvas pairs, blue-white water and camo, hand-stitched detailing can be seen at the heel. Taka Hayashi is known for his commitment towards craftsmanship and this collection is no different. The apparel comes in the form of a premium stripe rugby jersey with a corduroy collar and side pockets, as well as a cotton tee with a graphic design on the front and back of the tee.
The Taka Hayashi x Vans 2022 Collection drops 14 October in CPT, JHB and online.
