The International Public Art Festival 2022
The 6th edition of the International Public Art Festival (IPAF) has started! Adding to the 133 previously painted murals, the team has gone even bigger this year by adding multi-storey massive public murals to the skyline of the Cape Town CBD.
This will form a showcase of the very best talent within the street art scene, both locally and internationally — an epitome of creative expression for all Capetonians and visitors to enjoy. The murals will draw inspiration from the theme “Humanity” to educate and encourage debate while promoting the arts and our future talent. Through street art tours, visitors will learn the stories behind the artworks that adorn public spaces while the evening program will titillate the sense through its explorations of the city’s nightlife.
