The Simpsons has had a long-standing, critically acclaimed run that has bolstered the series into a household name. Similarly, the adidas Superstar has become a classic among sneaker heads and non sneaker heads alike. Now for a special release at Shelflife, the iconic Squishee drink is highlighted through a Superstar.
Notably, the multi-material pair captures the vibrancy and bright colors of the animated series. Mirrored after the “Squishee” frozen drink, the shell toe and midsole capture a slushie-like texture, while other pink, light green, and orange hues add to the colorful pair. Nods to the Simpsons’ Kwik E-Mart are located on the tongue tag.
The Simpsons x adidas Superstar 'Squishee' drops 28 April for R1699 at our CPT and JHB stores on a first come first serve basis. CPT and JHB open at 10am.
