Vans x Liberty Fabric Collection
Always classics and always original, like Vans, Liberty Fabrics embodies authenticity and creativity, with their unparallel prints and textiles. This partnership brings two best-in-their-craft brands together for a forthcoming collection of women’s footwear.
Arthur Liberty opened his Regent Street London fabric shop with a 2000-pound loan in 1875. A century and a half later, not only is the Regent Street shop listed as a London heritage site, it has also become an international shopping and fashion destination. Liberty has always remained true to its roots, and fabric design is still at the core of what they do. Every Liberty Fabric print is hand drawn or painted by their in-house design team. The print is then transformed into fabric at the brand’s Italian printing mill.
Liberty of London Fabrics bring three of their stunning textile designs to a tapered version of Vans’ Old Skool silhouette. Liberty’s multi-coloured floral pattern pops on a black background of the hero colourway, which is offset by Vans’ iconic Sidestripe. A brighter floral on a yellow backdrop and a patchwork floral-inspired paisley round out the footwear assortment.
