Vans x MoMA Second Drop
Vans has teamed up with the Museum of Modern Art for a series of special edition products. The artful range of footwear, apparel and accessories feature art represented in the museum’s collection, chosen by Vans in collaboration with MoMA. For the second drop, the artists spotlighted in the new collaboration reflect the diversity of MoMA’s collection, with artworks by Edvard Munch, Jackson Pollock and Lybov Popova.
Jackson Pollock
Jackson Pollock’s 'One: Number 31, 1950' is executed on the Vans Authentic via all-over application on the canvas upper and sidewalls. The imagery is also used on a digitally-printed short sleeve button-down shirt and a camper-style hat.
Edvard Munch
Edvard Munch, whose best-known work, ‘The Scream 1895’, captures the “infinite scream of nature” and angst. A print version of this work has been carefully captured on each of the canvas panels of the Vans Era in a repeat pattern that can also be found on the pullover hoodie.
Lyubov Popova
The Women's tee is dedicated to Russian avant-garde artist Lyubov Popova and one of her most important pieces of kubo-futuristic art.
The Vans x MoMA Footwear and Apparel Second Drop is available Wednesday 11 November online at 7am!
